Hi, I am Shawn Stringfield - a web designer living in Washington DC. I am currently employed at the University of Maryland University College as Lead Web Designer. At UMUC, I design for various platforms including interactive dvd, stylish web pages, flash animation for the web, banners, flash video for the web and even logos.
I wouldn’t call myself a web geek but I do have a passion for web standards, hand crafting CSS, HTML and all things web related. Ok so maybe I am a web geek. Truth is, there’s not much else i’d rather be doing career wise. I’m a techie and a natural born designer so a career in web design was a natural progression for me. In the evenings I freelance for individual business owners, non-profit organizations and small businesses who have needs that range from static websites to blogs with full Content Management System support.
This website serves the purpose of displaying my portfolio of work as well as offer as much information as possible to clients and potential clients alike.
